Abigail was born in 1969 and raised in the Philippines. Having a father that worked as an airline executive expatriate for years, Abigail had the opportunity to study and live in Manila, Bangkok, Hong Kong, and California before moving to Houston in 1992.

She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from the Ateneo de Manila University in 1991.

In the earlier years of her career, Abigail worked in the aerospace industry as a Crew Procedures Engineer for Lockheed Martin. She worked closely with astronauts, cosmonauts and scientists at NASA and Star City, Russia in the development of experimental procedures utilized on the Space Station MIR.

Abigail joined Tanglewood in April 2013 as a Wealth Advisor. She is committed to building beneficial relationships with clients and helping them successfully implement wealth plans uniquely tailored to meet their specific goals. Her other responsibilities include developing business opportunities.

Abigail serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Magnificat Houses, a faith-based, non-profit organization whose mission is to provide housing, food and mental health programs to individuals with no family or resources and help them grow in stability, productivity and independence. She is also an active member of the Houston Business & Estate Planning Council, the Financial Planning Association, and the Women’s Finance Exchange.

Abigail and her husband, Bruce, have been married since 1992 and have a son, Richard Austin. In her free time, Abigail enjoys travelling with family and friends, the performing arts, reading, and enthusiastic about learning something new each day.

“Nourishing relationships is one of the highest priorities in my life, whether it is with my family, friendships, clients, or professional colleagues. As a Wealth Advisor, it has been a privilege to be able to utilize my natural strengths, unique talents, skills, education and experience to work with our clients. Understanding a client’s family dynamic, hopes and dreams, and collaborating with them to implement wealth planning techniques successfully are what makes my work truly rewarding. When I wake up each day, I strive to focus on three key things to bring to my client relationships: to serve each one excellently, to help solve problems, and to add tremendous value. Going above and beyond numbers, it is my personal joy to ultimately make a positive contribution to each client’s overall wellbeing and peace of mind. ”
